Midnight Collection

This project presents my work inspired by Hannah Starkey image, which was in 1997. This is a collection for a woman aged 25-35, when they have an occasion at night. Therefore, I have launched the name Midnight Collection on my designs in this project, which contains four designs for short dresses. Thus, this portfolio offers my progression route in fashion design.

In this project, I looked at the popular fashion in 1997, Especially Alexander McQueen collections in 1997 and 2017, it was similar but the recent collection was more contemporary and modern. In addition, I had inspired by Christian Dior's collection in 2017, using fabrics that were a common fashion in 1997 such as Taffeta, Silk, and Organza. The drawings of stars, moon, and meteors used as decoration on the fabrics.

Childhood Innocence Collection

This project inspired by the nature theme and focused on the flower’s world including the leaves. In addition, it looks forward to creating a fashion collection for girls aged 5 to 8 to designs, party dresses. Whereas it has launched the named of childhood innocence to the collection and it contains eight dresses.

It looked at many designers who used natural items in their collection, for example, David Charles Who is a luxury and party girls dress a designer and Graci shop of luxury children’s fashion for less. likewise. It coincides with this project target market to the middle-class community.

In this project, I used a variety of art and design techniques, especially in my progression route of fashion design. For instance, eco- fabric dye by using flower petals and leaves, stitches, ruffles and fabric flowers. I selected four flowers for this project which are peonies, cherry blossom, rose and hydrangea and all of them involved in the pink color. I used a wide range of fabrics such as organza, crepe, silk, chiffon, lace, and satin.
